A CHESHIRE leading drinks specialist wholesaler is recalling a cocktail.
Hammonds of Knutsford is recalling Buzzballz Choc Tease Cocktail because it contains milk and sulphites which are not mentioned on the label.
This means a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxides and/or sulphites.
The Foods Standards Agency has issued an allergy alert.
Hammonds, a family business, founded in 1960, has alerted all relevant support organisations to tell their members about the recall.
The company has issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.
These notices explain why the product is being recalled and what to do if they have bought the product.
Customers are advised to return the product to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund, with or without a receipt.
For further information call Hammonds on 10565 872872.
