A CYCLIST was taken to hospital after being injured in a hit and run.
The 51-year-old man was riding a bike along South Oak Lane in Wilmslow when he was involved in a collision with a van.
An air ambulance was sent to the scene but the man, who suffered a shoulder injury, was taken to hospital by land ambulance.

Police say the man was later discharged and is now recovering at home.
The incident happened shortly before 2.45pm on Friday, September 16.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Police located the van which left the scene and enquiries are continuing.”
