A MAN has been hit with a £1,000 fine for threatening another person.
Paul Boden, of Chapel Road, Alderley Edge, pleaded not guilty at Stockport Magistrates Court on September 6 to using abusive or threatening words and behaviour.
The court heard evidence of an incident in Wilmslow on December 14, last year, in which the 56-year-old threatened another person.

Magistrates were told that his behaviour was likely ‘to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence’.
The defendant was found guilty.
Boden was fined £1,000 and ordered to pay £425 costs and £100 victim surcharge.
Magistrates gave him until January 2, next year, to pay the £1,525 court penalty.
