A DRIVER clocked speeding at 120mph on the M6 has been banned from the road.
Ali Ezzedine, of Tudor Road, Wilmslow, pleaded guilty at Birmingham Magistrates Court on August 30 of exceeding the speed limit.
The 21-year-old was caught on camera driving a Mercedes on the southbound carriageway of the M6 Toll at Birmingham at 120mph at 2.46pm on January 8, this year.
The speed limit is 70mph.

Ezzedine was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 56 days.
Magistrates also endorsed his driving licence.
The defendant was fined £166 and ordered to pay £110 costs and £34 victim surcharge.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
Ezzedine was given until September 13 to pay the £310 court penalty.
