A DRIVER clocked speeding on the M6 has been hit with a £1,100 court penalty.
Steven Greening, of Colstone Close, Wilmslow, pleaded guilty at Cannock Magistrates Court on August 11 to exceeding the speed limit.
The 46-year-old was caught on camera driving a grey Land Rover on the M6 Toll in Staffordshire at more than 70mph on May 11, this year.

The defendant was fined £949 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £94 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was also endorsed with six points.
Magistrates took the defendant’s guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
Greening has been given until September 8 to pay the £1,133 court penalty.
