Corn snakes do not possess any venom that harms humans or other animals.
They are neither poisonous nor dangerous.
Experts say the corn snake makes an excellent pet snake. It is generally docile and relatively easy to care for.
Anyone who has lost a corn snake can call into Wilmslow police station or email james.hails@cheshire.police.uk
