A NOSTALGIC exhibition is launching an art trail through Handforth village.
Pictures by local artist Eamonn Murphy reflect the style of classic travel posters from the 1920s and 1930s.
The images celebrate places of interest accessible from railway stations across Cheshire, including many in the Wilmslow and Handforth area.

The pictures from the Stations Connections artwork are on display in Handforth until September 11.
The pictures were commissioned by the Crewe to Manchester Community Rail Partnership, to which The Friends of Handforth Station (FoHS) belong.
Ian Ball, FoHS treasurer, who helped organise the display, said “The exhibition takes the form of a trail linking more than 25 display sites within our village.
“Leaflets illustrating the trail are available from several of our public buildings.”
Mark Barker, chairman of the Crewe to Manchester CRP said “Eamonn Murphy has created some truly iconic images of the communities on the Crewe to Manchester line.
“It is great to see these images on display at so many businesses and public buildings in Handforth.
“It will be a pleasure touring round them to enjoy the artwork.”
A competition is being held with several prizes up for grabs.
