Firefighters tackle woodland fire
VANDALS have torched a woodland in Knutsford.
Firefighters were called to a woodland area in Longridge shortly after 6pm on Wednesday, July 6.
Crews believe the fire was to started deliberately.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with water.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Setting fires like this is an offence.
“They can also quickly get out of hand and spread.”
One fire engine from Knutsford attended the incident.
Anyone who sees someone setting a fire like this is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 088 555 111.
