A VETERINARY practice in Handforth takes the leading role in a new national campaign that celebrates the vets, veterinary nurses and support teams that continue to work tirelessly to care for the nation’s pets.
Hannah Redhead, veterinary surgeon; Joanne Steele, practice relationship manager; Mal Chowdhury, clinical director and Tyler Allion, registered veterinary nurse at Vets4Pets Handforth feature in the campaign.
The campaign is believed to be an industry first as it depicts veterinary professionals in a way that they have never seen themselves before.
Through an authentic, all-access film the campaign follows Hannah, Joanne, Mal and Tyler as they deal with the highs and lows of a typical day in veterinary practice.
We see Charlie, a 31-year-old parrot, brought into Vets4Pets Handforth after he got himself into a prickly predicament and crash landed into a cactus when flying across the room at home.
Upon examination, the team at Vets4Pets Handforth discovered he had developed an eye ulcer, but after a few days of receiving antibiotic eye-drops and lubricants, his eye made a full recovery.
Vets4Pets, part of the Pets at Home Group, launched the campaign to champion everyone working within the industry by showcasing the passion, dedication and commitment that unites them.
Commenting on the campaign, Mal Chowdhury, clinical director and veterinary surgeon at Vets4Pets Handforth, said: "It’s not a secret that the last few years have been challenging, but it’s our goal to continue to promote a good working environment so we can continue to provide the best service to our clients.
“Being part of this campaign means so much to my whole team.
“It reflects our vision to create places where the highest standards of veterinary services are upheld whilst being fun and happy places that teams love working in.”
Joanne Steele, practice relationship manager at the practice, added: “Despite all the challenges we have faced in recent years, our team has endeavoured to deliver nothing less than gold standard customer service.
“Seeing that dedication showcased in this campaign is really emotional.
“We make sure all our pets receive the best care possible whilst always being treated with respect, as though they are a part of our family.”
