A MAN has been given a restraining order and been banned from a pub after being found guilty of attacking a woman.
Simon Revington, of Dean Row Road, Wilmslow, was also given a community order at Stockport Magistrates Court on June 1.
The 52-year-old had pleaded not guilty to assaulting a woman by beating on August 23 last year at a court hearing on January 19.
But the defendant was found guilty on April 12 and must comply with a programme of rehabilitation for 33 days.

Revington must also complete 150 hours of unpaid supervised work within the next 12 months.
A restraining order was made on the defendant preventing him from making any contact, directly or indirectly, with the victim.
Revington is also banned from The Coach & Four pub in Alderley Road, Wilmslow.
The restraining orders will remain in place until November 30, 2023.
The defendant was ordered to pay £200 compensation, £420 in costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
Magistrates gave him until June 29 to pay the £715 court penalty.
