A VAN burst into flames on the M6 on Thursday (May 26) morning.
The incident happened on the southbound carriageway of the busy motorway by junction 18.
The crew from Middlewich Fire Station were supported by their colleagues from Winsford and Crewe.
Although the van was well alight by the time they arrived at the scene, luckily the vehicle was on the exit slip road.
No injurties were sustained in the incident and the fire was soon extinguised.
