More than 44 beers, including 15 craft beers and 25 cask beers, plus lager and craft cider were served.

A final figure has not yet been announced for the charity event which was raising funds for The Toy Appeal and Knutsford primary schools.

Festival founder and chairman Andrew Malloy said: “Knutsford Beer Festival 2022 has been one of our best events to date.

Volunteers have raised more than £27,000 for local charities since the festival started in 2014.

“We had more than 800 people come to join the beer festival fun with three of the four sessions completely sold out,” said Andrew.

“A lot of these enjoyed our 40-strong collection of beers but people also really enjoyed the wine and gin bar from Morgan Edwards and the alcohol-free bar which had an 0 per cent beer that tastes just like the real deal.
