A DISUSED building was found to be on fire after smoke was seen coming from one of its windows.
Firefighters were called to the building in Wilmslow Road, Alderley Edge around 7pm last night, Sunday.
Three fire engines attended; one from Wilmslow, one from Poynton and one from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
Crews were able to extinguish the small fire inside using two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
A specialist fan was also used to clear the smoke-logged building.
