POLICE have named a man charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine after a large amount of drugs was seized from a car on the M6.
Driver of the car, John Hanley, of Farmstead Close, Failsworth in Manchester, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.
The 36-year-old is also charged with participating in the criminal activity of an organised group, intent to supply cocaine and possessing criminal property.
Cheshire Police Roads and Crime Unit, in partnership with the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, stopped an Audi car on the M6 northbound near Knutsford at around noon on Thursday, April 21.
Hanley was remanded in custody and due to appear at Warrington Magistrates Court on Saturday, April 23.
