THERE have been 40 minute delays on the M6 northbound in Cheshire this afternoon, Tuesday, following a 'multiple vehicle collision'.
One lane was closed between junction 18 for Middlewich and 19 for Knutsford.
Traffic officers and emergency services were called to the scene.
An update from Highways England reads: "On the M6 northbound between junction 18 and junction 19 near Knutsford, the vehicles involved in the earlier collision have now been recovered from the scene.
"TrafficOfficers have reopened all of the lanes."
Residual delays currently remain on the approach.
