DRIVERS are being warned to expect delays when travelling through Knutsford town centre as 11 months of roadworks are set to start.
Cheshire East Council has made an order to temporarily stop traffic along two roads in and around the town from April 25, with works anticipated to be completed by Friday, March 31, 2023.
The order relates to King Street in Knutsford and West Lane in High Legh. The roadworks will be for highway maintenance and improvements.

If you have any enquiries relating to the works please contact Cheshire East Highways on 0300 123 5020.
Meanwhile, from April 9, Manor Park South in Knutsford will be closed from the junction with Sharston Crescent to outside The Spinney.
The alternative route will be via Manor Park South, Mobberley Road, Brook Street, Hollow Lane, Thorneyholme Drive and vice versa - which is considered the most suitable route.
It is anticipated that these works will be completed by Monday, April 18.
