AN urgent appeal for baby clothes has been made to help families fleeing war-torn Ukraine.
Mobberley Methodist Church is collecting items to support refugees who have lost their homes.
The clothes will be taken to Poland as part of a lifeline launched by villager and security specialist Bob Marshall.
Using his expertise, he has set up a website, Ukraine Zone, to reunite displaced people with their loved ones.
He has teamed up with a group of UK volunteers in Przemysl in Poland.

Bob is now mounting a humanitarian trip to deliver vital communications equipment and baby clothes.
On the return journey, he plans to bring 36 refugees back to Cheshire where families have kindly offered their homes as a sanctuary.
“The response from everyone has been absolutely amazing,” said Bob.
“We would love to take down blankets and baby items such as hats, scarfs and gloves.”
Donations can be dropped off at the church in Faulkners Lane on Saturday, March 19 from 3pm to 5pm or Tuesday, March 22 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
