A PARTY with a difference is being held for four-legged guests.
The Tea Room in Knutsford is hosting a dog party at 3pm on Sunday, March 20, to launch its new dog menu.
Innovative treats will include ice lollies and even a Sunday roast.
Broadcaster Mark Radcliffe and Paul Langley, from the electronic band Une were invited for a sneak preview with their dogs, Arlo and Memphis.
Harriet Henry, co-owner of the café, will welcome furry friends with special treats including a dish of whipped cream called puppucinos.
Mark said: “We love Harriet and all at the tea room.
“Definitely the best carrot cake in town and always the friendliest welcome.
“Arlo was a particular fan of the pupcake and said he would have happily left a fat tip but sadly he didn’t have any cash on him.”

Paul said: “The cheese and bacon scones were amazing for both myself and Memphis.
“Sadly, Arlo didn’t get a look in when it came to the sausages.
“The Tea Room is absolutely the most innovative and creative café in the north.”
Since launching this special menu two years ago, the Tea Room has seen a big increase in the number of dogs visiting the café in Cotton Shop Yard.
A new menu will be launched on Sunday Tea Room co-owner Harriet Henry said: “I’m really excited to be holding another dog party.
“The last one was such a great event, customers still talk about it now.
“It’s a lovely way to invite all our loyal customers to try the new menu.
“We’ve added a Sunday roast and home-made ice lollies and I’ve even created an afternoon tea.”
A birthday pupcake has been introduced to give dogs the chance to celebrate their birthdays.
Harriet said: “As a dog-owner myself, I know how much people love their dogs and how important it is to have somewhere you can go where you are made to feel welcome with them.
“This is why we decided to create a menu especially for dogs, using the best ingredient.
“Based on the reaction from Arlo, Memphis and Mabel, our sausage dog, I’d say the new menu is going to be a hit.”
Co-owner Sue Henry said: “We love what we do and we really appreciate all our customers, however many legs they have.
“We know the afternoon tea is mad, but we embrace our nuttiness.
“It’s about having fun and making everyone know they’re welcome.”
Tickets for the dog party are £5 and include a doggy bag to take home.
