A DRINK-DRIVER caught more than twice the legal alcohol limit has avoided a ban.
Dimesh Kochhar, of Orwell Close, Wilmslow, admitted having 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Manchester Magistrates Court on March 10.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The 61-year-old failed a breath test on January 21 this year when he was driving a BMW on Manor Road in Cheadle Hulme.

Kochhar was fined £384 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £38 victim surcharge.
Tameside magistrates also endorsed his driving licence with 10 points.
Drivers who receive 12 penalty points or more within a three-year period are banned from driving for a minimum of six months.
The bench took Kochhar's guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until April 7 to pay the total £507 penalty.
