DESPITE the end of the photography competition season drawing near, talented Knutsford photographers are still managing to step it up for their latest competition.
Knutsford Photographic Society members thoroughly enjoyed their recent evening of stunning photography.
A spokesperson said: “Judges have been highly complimentary about the members' images this season and everyone was treated to some outstanding work.
“In recent months the club has broadened its membership and this has paid dividends with creativity and a desire to explore new photographic genres.
“Members are seeing more commendations for competition entries that are just slipping outside the winning group.
“Members are clearly making it difficult for judges to make that final decision and in most cases, it’s coming down to a personal preference or photographic style that just tips the balance.”
On Tuesday the winning images were:
1st John Cridland – Up and out
2nd Nigel Wells – You’re late!
3rd Nigel Wells – Checking the inside lane
4th Margaret Lawless – Perch rock
5th Karl Creaser – Curves and lines
Knutsford Photographic Society meets at Adams Hill meeting room every Tuesday evening from September to April.
New members of any ability are always made most welcome.
