THE UK’s biggest celebrity food and music festival returns to Tatton Park this summer.

The three day Foodies Festival runs from Friday, July 8, to Saturday, July 10.

New attractions promise to deliver an unforgettable weekend of fine food and new experiences, promising a great family day out.

More than 200 exhibitors will showcase their produce, providing festival-goers with an opportunity to sample the best of the region and to try a huge selection of delicious food and drink from around the world.

Top chefs will demonstrate an array of dishes.

Award-winning chefs taking part in the festival include MasterChef: The Professionals 2021 champion Daniel Lee, MasterChef 2021 champion Tom Rhodes, 2019 champion Irini Tzortzoglou and finalist David Rickett.

Daniel Lee said: “I am thrilled to be performing. I’m hoping that people will enjoy a bit more of an in-depth and interactive explanation into why I cook the food I do and where my inspiration for it comes from.

“For me, food is all about bringing people together and that’s exactly what Foodies Festival is all about.”

Award-winning artisan producers will offer a selection of fresh food and drink in a shopping village.

Exotic and unusual dishes will be available to try in a street food avenue and feasting tent.

Visitors will able to discover the very latest food trends. Tantalising delicacies from all over the world will be on offer.

A big selection of plant based dishes and produce will be displayed.

Live music, a cookery school, cook book shop and children’s activities are among some of the many other attractions.

Ready, Steady, Chef! Celebrity chefs will compete against each other turning a bag of surprise ingredients into dishes against the clock.

Local MasterChef star, Liam Rogers, will also cook live in the Chefs Theatre, showcasing his finest dishes.

Bake Off stars in the Cake and Bake Theatre include 2021 favourites Freya Cox and Lizzie Acker.

Chefs from Michelin-starred and award-winning restaurants will give the festival a distinctive local flavour.

Brazilian chef and star of Great British Menu 2022, Caroline Martins, from Sao Paulo restaurant in Manchester, chef-patron Adam Reid, of four-time AA Rosette-awarded The French at the Midland Hotel and Aiden Byrne, chef-patron from The Church Green in Lymm, will bring be on stage.

World chilli-eating champion Shahina Waseem will challenge those brave enough to compete.

The music line-up includes platinum selling chart-toppers Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe from boy band Blue and festival favourites, Toploader.
