A FLOOD alert has been issued for the River Bollin catchment in Knutsford and Wilmslow.
River levels have risen on the River Bollin due to heavy rainfall, following three storms in the past three days.

A spokesman for the Environment Agency said:"Flooding is possible at low lying land and roads around the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries throughout the night and into the morning on Monday, February 21.
"We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert if necessary.

"Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water."
The flood alert includes the Rivers Bollin, Dean and Pedley, Birkin and Mobberley Brooks and their tributaries.
