STORM Dudley is continuing to cause travel disruption as some train services have been cancelled.
Damage to overhead electric wires between Wilmslow and Manchester Airport has suspended trains.
The line is currently blocked due to a fallen tree.
The Northern service between both stations has been suspended.
Disruption is now expected to continue until 11.30am.
The storm has caused widespread travel disruption on trains and roads.
Passengers and motorists are advised to check routes before setting off.
Much of the UK has been battered by extremely strong winds, some as strong as 80mph.
Further treacherous weather is likely on Friday as Storm Eunice is expected to bring even stronger winds and possibly heavy snow.
