ORGANISERS of Knutsford Maker’s Market due to take place this weekend have been left heartbroken after bad weather has forced them to cancel the event.
The popular street market was set to open on Sunday.
However, organisers called off the monthly event on Friday due to high winds to give traders plenty of notice.

A spokesman for Knutsford Maker’s Market posted on social media: “We’ve been watching the forecast religiously over the last 24 hours and unfortunately it’s deteriorated this afternoon to levels that are unsafe to put up gazebos, even worse so because it’s such a big market.
“We are making the call now to ensure stallholders don’t start baking and prepping.
“Having to cancel due to wind rarely happens, but it’s heart breaking every time it does.”
