A SPEEDING driver has been banned from the road for ‘repeat offending’.
John Hehir, 63, of Wellbank Lane, Over Peover, Knutsford, was found guilty of speeding at Chester Magistrates Court when the case was heard on January 19.
The LGV driver exceeded the 30mph speed limit on Plumley Moor Road, Knutsford, on May 22 last year.

The defendant was caught on camera driving too fast.
The speed limit was signified by street lighting places at less than 200 yard intervals, the court was told.
Hehir was fined £581, ordered to pay £110 costs and £58 victim surcharge and his licence was endorsed with five penalty points.
The defendant was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months ‘due to repeat offending’.
Hehir was given until February 16 to pay the £749 court penalty.
