HIGH Legh Primary School's year 6 girls' basketball team have enjoyed some success as part of the Warrington Sports Partnership.
They progressed to this month's next round after matching the school's year 5 team in progressing to the quarter-finals after six group matches.
The two High Legh sides then played each other in the semi-finals, with year 6 girls proving victorious and going on to face Oughtrington in the final which finished 1-1.
"We're particularly proud of these girls as some have never competed for school before, and placing joint first and third is a great achievement," said deputy head, Jo Price.
