A MAN arrested on suspicion of drug driving was taken to hospital after a three vehicle crash.
The casualty had to be cut free from a car that ended up on its roof, say police.
Firefighters were called to the A538 Altrincham Road, near the airport tunnels, in Wilmslow shortly after 10am on Tuesday.
The collision involved a silver mercedes CLC 230, a Mercedes Vito white van and a black mercedes estate.

Crews stabilised one of the cars and freed a driver from the vehicle.
The casualty was handed into the care of paramedics and taken to Salford Royal Hospital.
Another man was checked at the scene by paramedics.
All vehicles were made safe.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "One person was cut out of a car that was on its roof. The man was arrested for drug driving and taken to Salford Hospital."
Cheshire Police Roads and Crime Unit said the driver who was rescued failed a roadside drugs wipe and tested positive for cocaine.
Cheshire Police say a man arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving was later de-arrested.
A police spokesman said: "The driver of the CLC 230, a 46-year-old man from Hale, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drug driving.
"He was later de-arrested in order to receive hospital treatment and will be dealt with at a later date."
Firefighters from Wilmslow, Bollington and Greater Manchester attended the incident.
