THREE men have been charged by police in connection with a fatal crash in Wilmslow.
Officer’s had been investigating the collision on the A34 Handforth Dean Bypass for more than a year before formally charging the men.
Osama Ali Saeed, Asgar Taj and Mohammad Zubair Chaudhry all appeared at Stockport Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 25 where they were charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Chaudhry was also charged with a number of other driving offences.
The charges relate to a collision on the A34 Handforth Dean Bypass on Tuesday, September 15 2020 in which 34-year-old Asad Rashid, from Bradford, sadly lost his life.
Saeed, aged 30, of St Pauls Road, Manningham, Bradford; Taj aged 33 of Heath Grove, Bradford and Chaudhry, aged 29, of Kingsway, Cheadle, were all released on bail.
They are next set to appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Wednesday, January 5 2022.
