A KNUTSFORD man is facing a lengthy spell behind bars after pleading guilty to nine counts of sexual activity against two boys in the town.
Kane Gunter, now of Woodland Lodge in Barmouth, also admitted four other charges in relation to making and possessing 75 indecent images of children.
The 56-year-old was appearing at Chester Crown Court on Wednesday, October 20, where he spoke only to confirm his identity and enter guilty pleas as each count was put to him.
Nine of the charges relate to incidents involving two boys, the youngest being just 13-years-old at the time the offences took place.
The first of those took place between April 9 and April 11 2016 with the defendant admitting to five other charges against the same boy, with the most recent offence taking place in 2018 when the victim was still only 15.
Gunter also admitted to three charges of sexually activity with a boy aged 15, which took place between March and August 2018.
There were four more guilty pleas, three for making indecent images of children in each category, A, B and C, and another for possessing 75 indecent images across each of those categories.
Judge Everett, the honorary recorded for Chester, told Gunter that custody was inevitable.
However, he granted him conditional bail, which includes a night time curfew, and will return to Chester Crown Court to be sentenced on November 25.
