The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Halton on Wednesday morning.
The weather service has warned that there will be a brief period of heavy rain, thunderstorms and very gusty winds which may cause some disruption on Wednesday morning between 4am and 12pm.
The warning will affect parts of the UK, moving quickly eastwards across Wales and southwestern England into parts of central, southern and eastern England on October 20.

What to expect
The warning says to expect flooding which could damage some buildings as well as lightning strikes, hail and strong winds in the area.
Gusts of wind are expected to reach 40-50mph and will affect most parts of England.
There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur to and a small chance of damage to trees by the winds.
