Asda has announced it will roll out Covid-19 booster vaccinations at 72 of its in-store pharmacies, with nine of these in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.
Since January, Asda has delivered over 90,000 first and second doses in Birmingham, Watford and London.
From October the supermarket chain hopes to deliver more than 7,500 vaccines a week and will offer them alongside their flu vaccination service.
Faisal Tuddy, Asda Superintendent Pharmacist at Asda, said: “We are proud to have supported the NHS vaccination rollout throughout the year and will continue to do all we can to help vulnerable individuals top up their protection ahead of the winter months.
"Expanding the booster service to more than 70 Asda stores across the UK means that many more people will be able to receive their jabs in a convenient location at the heart of their community.”

Booster jabs are being offered to people on the NHS who are deemed most at risk from COVID-19 and have already received two doses of a vaccine.
The booster will be offered 6 months after the second dose is given and should extend protection for another year.
