KNUTSFORD Photographic Society is back after 18 months of Zoom meetings.
Both new and returning members were treated to an evening of 'photographic excellence' with stunning images on display.
With the new competition season underway, members were keen to get points on the board and establish an early lead.
There were more than forty images to select from and the judge for the evening – Martin Pickles – had a difficult task.
Martin, a member of Holmes Chapel and Poynton Camera Clubs, held back nineteen images before naming his top five.
John Cridland explained: "First place went to new member John Horsley.
"John also picked up a commendation for each of his other two entries.
"Tim Banks was second and Mervyn Harrison picked up a third place, with Joe Morris, another new member, finishing fourth.
"Joe was also awarded a commendation for his another image.
"Karl Creaser was awarded fifth place."
After 18 months of Zoom meetings, club president Karl Creaser said it was great to get members talking in person again.
Karl was also impressed with the 'outstanding contributions' from the new members which he said demonstrated 'a sound foundation for the club’s future'.
Knutsford Photographic Society meets at their Adams Hill meeting room every Tuesday evening from September to April.
New members of any ability are always welcome.
