A DRIVER has died after a serious crash on the M6.
Cheshire police has confirmed that a driver died and three other people were injured in a collision which involved three HGVs.
The incident happened yesterday on the southbound carriageway between junction 20, Lymm Interchange and junction 19, Knutsford shortly before 12.40pm.
Three other people received what are believed to be minor injuries.
The motorway was closed in both directions as emergency services worked at the scene.
The M6 has now fully reopened and an investigation into the collision continues.
Police are now appealing for witnesses.
