A FIRE broke out behind a restaurant at Sandbach service station on the M6.
Firefighters were called shortly before 4.30am this morning and found cardboard and pallets ablaze.
Crews used a hose reel jet to put out the flames at the service station between junction 17 and 16.
Firefighters checked that the fire hadn't spread further before making the scene safe.
Two fire engines from Sandbach and Crewe attended the incident.
