A MAN has admitted to several charges of indecent assault against a girl aged between 9 and 11 in Wilmslow.
Peter Hardy, of Pensarn in Abergele, North Wales, was appearing at Stockport Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 20.
The 65-year-old faced a total of ten charges, nine of which related to the indecent assault of the same girl between 1969 and 1972.
Hardy has admitted to four of those charges, but denied five others against the same girl and another of indecent assault against a male at an army base in Southampton between 1977 and 1979.
He will face trial for those six charges at Chester Crown Court on June 17, after which he will be sentenced for the offences he has already admitted.
