Police carry out 'tactical stop' of vehicle on M6
POLICE have carried out a 'tactical stop' of a vehicle on the M6.
Patrols from the North West Motorway Police became suspicious of the car's identity late last night.
The vehicle was then stopped and seized near Holmes Chapel, with the driver reported for multiple traffic offences.
A North West Motorway Police spokesman said: "A tactical stop was carried out on a vehicle on the M6 near Holmes Chapel after suspicions were raised about its identity.
"Car seized and driver subsequently reported for several traffic offences."
