A CAR ended up on its roof after colliding with a lamppost in Mobberley.

Miraculously it appears that no one was hurt.

Police discovered the overturned silver Audi A4 in Town Lane outside Victory Hall.

The occupants of the car escaped unhurt and ran off. It is believed they were heading towards Knutsford.

Officers attended the incident at around 9.45pm on Saturday, February 27.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "Police swiftly attended the scene and found the vehicle on its roof.

"The occupants of the car made off from the scene.

"Town Lane was blocked for a short while for recovery of the vehicle.".
