A PUB in Mobberley has been recognised as one of the of the best in the British Isles, for the sixth consecutive year.
The Church Inn has once again been awarded a prestigious Michelin Plate and will feature in the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2021, the only pub in Cheshire and Greater Manchester to do so.
Being awarded a Michelin Plate is recognition for every aspect of the pub, from the fine cookery of kitchen staff, to the overall leadership of Manager Siobhan Youngs and her team.
A spokesman for the team said: "We are so incredibly proud to have received the plate for 2021.
"The team have all worked tirelessly to make sure that great cooking and great service is at the heart of what we do at the church inn.
"We couldn’t do it without the continued support of our customers."

As well as being awarded the culinary accolade, Head Chef Richard Williams also had a baby a couple of days ago, with his hard working team happy to step in and say how proud they are.
"The team are hardworking and determined, and put so much effort into making the guest experience so special," the spokesman added.
"They take it upon themselves to learn more about wine, and we have built up a strong relationship with our wine suppliers to be able to share that with our customers.
"Receiving this award is very motivating for all of us to continually improve what we do.
"The atmosphere of the pub is so warm, welcoming, and joyful, from the building itself to the interesting interiors and antiques.
"It makes me so proud of every one of the team to push themselves to create a dining experience that does it justice."
The last twelve months have been an incredibly difficult one for the hospitality industry, so news of the award has definitely provided the team with the shot in the arm.
"This Michelin Plate recognises every aspect of theChurch Inn, from Richard and his kitchen team’s fine cookery, to the overall leadership of Siobhan and of course, the great efforts of the entire team who make dining and drinking here such a pleasure.
