A KNUTSFORD road will be closed for three days next week.
The full length of Beggarmans Lane, which joins Bexton lane and Toft Road, is expected to be closed to traffic between Monday, January 25 and Wednesday, January 27.
The closure is to allow Cheshire East Council to carry out carriageway patching on the road.
The council has given notice of the road closure to the public, stating it will be in place for a maximum period of five days, but stating that it is expected the closure will be in place between 9.30am on Monday and 3.30pm on Wednesday.
The council's public notice states: "Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times.
"Cyclists will be required to dismount in order for access to maintained.
"Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
"The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out carriageway patching."
