HIGH risk Knutsford residents aged over 80 and care home residents are to receive a Covid-19 vaccine from next month.
The announcement came this afternoon (Thursday) from Knutsford Medical Partnership, which is made up of Toft Road, Manchester Road and Annandale medical centres.
Partnership executive manager Samantha Pownall said: “The Knutsford practices are excited to announce that our Covid vaccination programme will begin on Saturday, January 9, 2021 for our highest risk over 80-year-old patients and care home residents.
“The programme will be run from Knutsford Community Hospital in Bexton Road, and patients will be contacted by our booking team to arrange appointments.
“Patients do not need to contact the surgeries or the community hospital; we will be in touch from Monday, and over the next few weeks to patients who meet the criteria.
“We would like to thank all our patients and the community for their patience and volunteering to help support the delivery of the Covid vaccination programme, and look forward to making steps towards getting life back to normal.”
