THE families of a man and a woman who died following a fatal collision near Congleton have paid tribute to them.
Gemma Gregory, aged 32, and Drew Pedley, aged 22, died in the early hours of Sunday following a collision on the A34 in Marton.
Gemma’s parents said: “Gemma was a special daughter who was taken too soon, she was a loving mother, sister and will be sadly missed by the whole family. Rest in peace.”
Drew’s parents said: “Drew was a loving son to Suzanne Lawton and Andrew Whitehurst, brother to Dan and Dex and devoted partner to Chloe. He will be sadly missed by all.”
An investigation into the cause of the collision has been launched and inquiries remain ongoing.
