PUPILS at Bexton Primary School enjoyed a visit from Imran Kotwal from Muslim Learner Services, who visits schools to talk to children and staff about Islam.
He began the day with an assembly for all the children, where he talked about the Five Pillars of Islam.
He then spent an hour with each of the Year 5 and 6 classes teaching them about the Prophets or Messengers.

The school said it was very interesting to learn how many links there were between Islam, Judaism and Christianity.
Imran ended the day with a staff meeting where the teachers were given lots of ideas to incorporate into their religious education lessons.
Jill Sach, deputy head said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Imran Kotwal to Bexton.
“The children really enjoyed the assembly, learning all about the Five Pillars of Islam, and Year 5 and 6 had more in-depth lessons about the Prophets.
