The fire was in the engine compartment
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a flatbed truck on fire off the slip road to Knutsford Services off the M6 northbound at 4.45pm yesterday.
The fire, which was in the engine compartment, was out on arrival.
Crews used a hose reel to damp down and cool the area. They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
