CHILDREN at Manor Park Primary School have come up with a novel way to keep the slugs off their fruit and veg.
Members of the school’s Garden Gang have made wildlife-friendly slug repellent strips from copper coins and wood.
They are being used in the school’s allotment to protect the fruit and veg.
