Police looking into Holmes Chapel arson
POLICE are appealing for information after an arson incident in Holmes Chapel.
Firefighters were called to woodland off Selkirk Drive at 5.24pm yesterday, Sunday.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "One fire engine from Middlewich fire crews were called to a small rubbish fire in woodland off Selkirk Drive, Holmes Chapel.
"Crews used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire which had been started deliberately.
"If you have any information about the incident then please call Cheshire Police on 101."
