MOTORISTS in Homes Chapel faced dirsuption this morning after a road was closed following a vehicle fire.
A section of Station Road, close to Holmes Chapel train station, was closed by Cheshire Police after a Jaguar caught fire at 8.42am.
One fire engine from Middlewich attended the incident, where firefighters used two hose reel jets to put out the fire.
Two firefighters used breathing apparatus to put of the blaze, before reducing their response to just one breathing apparatus and hose reel jet.
Cheshire Police has also attended the incident to close the road while an oil and fuel spillage was dealt with.
The vehicle was later recovered, and Station Road has since been reopened.
