A TEENAGER has died following a crash outside the ‘Rostherne Drive’ entrance of Tatton Park.
17-year-old, Badal Mota, from Manchester was killed after his motorbike collided with a minibus taxi on Sunday July 19 at around 5.15pm.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but has unfortunately passed away since.
Flowers have been left outside the gates of Tatton Park as a tribute to the teen.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred on the same day as Tatton Park’s Food Festival.
At the time of the crash, Badal was travelling along Ashley Road towards Ashley and a silver Mercedes minibus was pulling out of Rostherne Lane onto Ashley Road.
Officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision and may have seen anything significant to get in touch.
In particular, police are looking to contact the passengers of a white Nissan who they believe may have seen the crash.
Anyone with any information should call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 724 of 19 July or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
