WITH the General Election only three months away we thought we would seek our readers’ views on the proposed HS2 rail link.
The Government wants to build the new high speed network to provide the rail capacity it says Britain needs and to improve connectivity and economic growth for the regions.
However anti-HS2 campaigners believe the £50 billion scheme is a waste of tax payers’ money, and will have a major impact on the environment and local communities.
