KNUTSFORD schoolchildren are to be treated to an afternoon with renowned poet and author Michael Rosen.
Michael is to visit Egerton Primary School on Wednesday, October 15, as part of the Knutsford Literature Festival.
The event is aimed at year four children, and all the primary schools in Knutsford and the library service have been invited to attend.
The same evening Michael will be at Leicester Warren Hall talking about how learning can be much more fun – and will show his audience how.
The evening will be based around his new book, Good Ideas – How to be your child’s (and your own) Best Teacher, starts at 7pm and includes a book signing. Booking a seat is essential.
A passionate champion for children’s literacy, Michael’s approach to learning is exciting, interactive, adventurous and playful.
The festival runs from October 9 to 19, and tickets are available from Waterstones bookshop, 72 King Street, Knutsford, 01565 621920.
