ADOPTION services in east Cheshire are going from strength to strength following the positive verdict from a recent Ofsted inspection.
Cheshire East Council received an overall rating of good thanks to their assessment programme, as the numbers of people approved as adopters has increased.
The report stated staff are hard working and knowledgeable and were also praised for keeping siblings together throughout the adoption process.
Clr Rachel Bailey, cabinet member in charge of children and adult services, said: “I am delighted with this report, which is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated staff.
“It provides a clear assurance to the people of Cheshire East that the interests of children, young people and their families lie at the heart of all we do.”
